Nothos - Narrative, Solo Focused RPG
A downloadable game
Nothos means bastard.
This game is a bastard of Cornerstone RPG, Freeform Universal, my year long solo adventures using only Cornerstone RPG, and my desire to create.
Nothos is a setting and genre neutral narrative game focusing on incremental progress, customizing characters, and stories that change.
Credit to Ben Dutter and his Cornerstone RPG which spawned this creation and one of my best solo campaigns that lasted over 4 months!

_________________________________________________________________________________________
A d12 narrative game that has four resolution results of:
12 - 10 = Success AND
9 - 7 = Success BUT
6 - 4 = Fail BUT
3 - 1 = Fail AND
______________________________________________________________________________________
Characters are built on 4 core attributes, a selection of other skills, and abilities to define them. The game involves minimal math and is meant for quick, easy play. Advancement comes from small bonuses to skills as characters succeed in their story.
______________________________________________________________________________________
I made this game since I found the d6 mechanic of Cornerstone to feel limiting when playing it long term. A d12 allows for more incremental bonuses and that a character can't ever succeed on every role due to enemies affecting roll results rather than rolling themselves.

This is my third passion project and one I am proud of. But, nothing is ever perfect. Please leave any feedback and criticism you have!

Skimmed the rules and it seems pretty cool for narrative solo play.
